Children's Ministry
Children's Ministry Goals
To provide Biblical teaching for our young people that fosters a personal relationship with Jesus, our Savior. We hope that your child/children will find church a fun, inviting place to be as they are nurtured in their Christian faith!
During the 9:30 Service
Note: Care is provided for children under 3 years of age in the nursery room off of the gym. Please note there is also a “Mom’s Room” off of the nursery for nursing babies. The sermon is broadcast live to this room.
Children ages 3 years old through 5th grade will be dismissed from the sanctuary following the children’s message to attend one of three Sunday school classes.
Preschool children (ages 3-4) will report to the downstairs preschool room (Room 1)
Grades K-2 will meet upstairs in the library
Grades 3-5 will meet in the end classroom on the upper left of the gym.
* Classes will be taught by a rotating team of teachers. Our teachers are enthusiastic and excited to share their love of God with your children! Check out our great teachers: Click here for teacher bios (coming soon!).
*You will need to pick up your child(ren) at their room promptly following the service and sign them out.
*If your child has any food allergies, please ensure that the Sunday School teachers are informed! We also would appreciate your communication regarding any other needs your child(ren) might have. A “student information” sheet should be filled out and given to your child’s teacher. These are available from the Sunday School teachers or can be printed from this website.
Students in grades 6-8 are invited to Confirmation classes that meet during the Sunday School time on an every other week basis. Please inquire for more information!

Following the service (approximately 11:00am):
Following the service, children in grades 2 and up are invited to participate in the elementary hand chime choir. Hand chimes will practice upstairs in the CE office for 20-30 minutes every other week.
** We are excited to offer a middle school hand chime choir, also!
On alternate weeks, liturgical dance will be held for interested girls. The elementary group of girls 10 and under will meet in the preschool room for about 30 minutes. The middle/ high school dancers will meet in the sanctuary. No dance experience is necessary!
